日期
日期（rì qī）means dates, there are two different calendars in Chinese daily life:
- Solar Calendar/阳历（yáng lì）:
Dates order: year/month/day=年（nián）/月（yuè）/日（rì）
日（rì）=号（hào）
eg. 1998年3月23日 or 1998年3月23号（hào）
- Lunar Calendar /阴历（yīn lì）or 农历（nóng lì）:
1月 is usually called 正月（zhēng yuè）
12月 is usually called 腊月（là yuè）
初（chū）：used for the first 10 days of a month
eg. 1998年正月初一
1998年三月初十
1998年腊月三十
（正月初一，正月初二，…..正月十一，正月十二，……
二月初一，
……
腊月初一，……大年三十（for the last day of the year）
