Today’s November 22nd, the 20th solar term, called 小雪（xiǎo xuě）, it means The Light Snow.
The temperature in most of the Northern China begins to fall below zero degrees celsius gradually. during this period, snow begins to fall, but the amount is not heavy, that’s why it’s called Light Snow.
There’s one things which should be mentioned, in North China, most of the families in the countryside grow cabbage which is very cheap and popular, at this time, people begin to storage cabbage for winter till the next year by putting them inside the room or underground to keep them unfrozen and fresh.
